How to Find the Most Engaging Youth Activities

Here in Greater Des Moines, it's simple to be a kid. Whether your concept of family fun is a skate park, a smash park, an amusement park, or a real park, Des Moines is the best escape, no matter if you're young or just young at heart.

Gee, what could be more enjoyable than spring break with the kids? Those beautiful children getting on the sofa, battling with each other, making a mess everywhere they go. It suffices to drive a parent wild. So, get out of your home. Here's a list of things you can do with the rugrats totally free, and they're enjoyable, too.

Free parking. The program "Planted Creations: Garden Art" is fun for grades 7-12 at the library. 4:30 -6 p.m. Decorate a terracotta pot with paint pens.

Register here: Bring a coat and enjoy the telescopes and professional help at a "Starr Celebration" at Caspers Wilderness Park from 7-9:30 p.m. There will be stargazing equipment on hand, but you can also bring your own. Activities take location at the nature. Free admission, but parking is $5.

Search for hints indoors at the Ronald J.
